HELP! Concession trailer recommendations?

Postby hoser » Wed Mar 07, 2012 1:10 am

May be in the market for a used concession trailer for new shave ice biz in CA. What are MUST HAVES in terms of requirements and features for this specific business? Brands to look for and avoid? Any and all feedback appreciated!

I have a SNOWIE 3000 SHAVER FOR SALE, its been used a handful of times only in the house, not at any events. Its in great shape, excellent machine for a SHAVED ICE business. Very easy to use and produces nice and fluffy shaved ice very fast. Here is a link to the site I purchased it from with all the specs and etc. Comes with the foot pedal and spare blade.

http://www.snowie.com/shavers/shaver_3000.html

I paid over $2500 with tax and shipping. Willing to sell it for $2200. We can handle the transaction via PAYPAL which is safe and secure. Feel free to let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks

I was leaning toward a Swan as it's nsf approved for California. Is the Snowie? How does it compare to Swan si-100e?

Any feedback on a trailer?

The Snowie is NSF certified as well, it's a cube shaver so you would just have to pour in the ice and step on the foot pedal and catch the flakes in the cup. Cubed ice is easier to find too. A 8lb bag of ice can make 16 snowies in 60 seconds.

Wow, that Snowie machine looks pretty cool with the cups holder on the side and the molding on the top looking thing. How much can this thing hold? I really want to see this in action. :D

I would suggest that you do a block ice shaver in lieu of a cube one like Snowie...just my opinion.

was that opinion for me Daryl? :D I wasn't sure..., I already got the Fuji and Swan, but i keep on hearing people say how good Snowie machines are, so I'm curious to see these two go one-on-one with the other well known block shavers and see who would take the edge.
