Si-100e noise

Postby watss » Tue Feb 24, 2009 7:24 pm

I've been using this machine for quite some times already and problems are starting to come up. Do you think you can tell me why my machine is making cranking noises? How can I fix that? Thanks!

Hi, I have 3 swans and pretty much encountered every possible problem there can be with it. What type of cranking noise is there and from which part of the machine is it from?

I cannot pinpoint where the noise is coming from. But I am almost sure that it is from the gears.

Grinding noises are usually caused by worn worm gears or donut gears. Please open your head cover to see if the worm gear (which is close to the brake) or you donut gear (located inside the gear box) and see if any of the teeth are bald or chipped.

I think I found my problem! Do you sell parts or can you direct me to someone who does?
