I'm new to this and am looking to test the water with shaved ice sales as an add on to my concession business so I dont want to lash out a fortune in case it doesnt work out. Ideally I'd like to buy a hatsuyuki cube ice shaver or a Paragon Sno-Flurry 3100 AC Shaved Ice Machine machines must be 220 volt 50 hz. As these seem to be incredibly expensive is there any chinese manufacturer of a machine of similar quality which would do the same thing for me at obviously a fraction of the cost? my friend you ever heard the saying you pay for what u get,well being in the business for 10yr if you plan on not being to busy at whatever location your @maybe you would look @ somethin cheap,but when I paid for my block shaver $2800 i could almost cringe,but believe me when it came to durability it surely outlast my competitor,and made that back 10 times!

Roger that brothers. In terms of commercial usage, you should not go low budget on those items especially when you need it to make you money. For home use, you wouldn't have to splurge over 1k on a machine if you plan to make less than 20 cups a month, but if its for your business I highly recommend not going cheap on it.
