Re: About 99Designs

Re: Machine to make ribbon ice / snow ice

Just take it straight out of the freezer and shave it. You do sometimes have to soak it in water for 10 seconds so the puck will release from the cup but that's about it. Super simple and we get a lot of great reactions.

Re: Machine to make ribbon ice / snow ice

We use the PDOJ-M which is the single serve version of the larger machine. We also get all of our product from
http://www.shavedicedistributors.com/equipment. Kin is a great guy and would highly recommend working with him.

Re: The best and fastest machine!

As someone who has had all three of the machines you mentioned, I still prefer the Swan. The Snowie block shaver i thought was terrible, the southern while can give you great ice is very finicky and i thought to much of a learning curve for employees. I find the SWAN by far the easiest machine to us...

Re: Ice Block Cracking

The only thing that i am noticing is the mold itself. when i was freezing my own ice, my buckets were very flexible and allowed the ice to expand a little outwards and not just upwards. Your mold seems very thick and the Ice may only have the option to...
