Re: Will a swan or hatsuyuki block shaver suction down to the inside of my trailer?

Maximus, to be safe I wouldn't rely on suction cups to hold down the machine. If your table becomes wet or the cups get old, your machine will easily slide off when your moving your truck. The best way to bold it down is by drilling a bracket into your counter and attaching it to the machine. You ca...

Re: Favor Station DIY?

What I found out is that if you are doing events that you are providing a all you can eat type of deal, or charging a higher price, then it is efficient. It is also good for high volume places. If you are doing events that is based on head count, then a self serve won't be efficient in terms of cost...

Re: Swan Shaver spinning opposite direction...Please Help!

Dluna, adjusting the break doesn't damage the motor but holding the handle down while shaving to produce extra pressure definitely will. Also, over use of the foot pedal can cause damages to the motor since you are switching the motor on and off non stop. This will not only damage the relay inside t...

Re: Yuzu Shave Ice Syrup Is For Sale!

The Green Paradise doesn't contain the natural green tea that we sell, to me the Green Paradise has a much more "leaf" like taste that is kind of hard to describe. The green tea on the other hand has a stronger tea taste, similar to oolong tea (if you are into drinking tea) Strawberry Dragon Fruit w...

Re: Yuzu Shave Ice Syrup Is For Sale!

Green Paradise is like a green tea flavor.

Red Dragon is Strawberry Dragon Fruit, hard to exactly pin point the taste of this one. I would describe it as a mellow strawberry without the tartness of a full strawberry.

Re: First experience with Bahama Bucks

Depending on how slush you want it, I would add more than a few ounces. When the ice is "too" fine, you will find that packing the ice will be difficult and also no one likes their hands and machine all sticky after wards. Technically you wouldn't need to add any of the additives to the ice if your ...

Re: Recipe for condensed milk ice mixture

The milky ice or "snow ice" you are talking about cannot be done easily at home. You will need a milk powder mixed with water and frozen using a blast freezer to create the proper temperature for the ice.
