Concentrates needs refridgeration?

Postby Kianakai » Tue Jun 28, 2011 12:53 am

What are the shelf life of concentrates? I am afraid to buy a huge gallon and not use it all within a time period. I like to keep my syrups fresh. Biggest concentrates I have are the 16 oz which last me about a couple of months (my business is part-time). I do have a couple of gallon ones that I still have for about a year (I bought these when I first started out). Should I refridgerate all my concentrates? or storing in a cool dry place is enough? Thanks....

I do not refrigerate my concentrates as they last a cpl years on the shelf and have not had any issues. Most conentrates have a use by date on them if you search for it.
