How is your shack/hut set up?

Postby jespark » Thu Aug 04, 2011 10:16 pm

My husband and I are wanting to start our own shaved ice business in March. We are looking at portable buildings but are unsure how much room we will need. We were thinking 8x10. The most employees we will have in there at once will be 2. We will need plumbing, electric (how much?), counters, shelves, sink, sliding window, insulation....what am i missing? Who is your favorite vendor for shaver machine and syrups?
I would love to see pictures of your set up also.
I'm looking forward to researching all possible on this forum.

Thank you,
Jes

Jes I have a trailer that we use and it is 8x12 and have worked with as many as 3 in it with no problem. If you send me your email I will send you some pics of the inside and outside. My trailer is unique in the fact that it is vinyl wrapped and I have 2 tv's mounted on the outside that I show Hawaiian videos on. Inside I have a computerized point of sale system w/touchscreen monitor, dvd-vcr and stereo suystem. We use both 12v & 120v to run the equipment. I am considering selling it atthe end of this season as I have an interest in another venture not sure if you would be intersted or where you are located at. If I sell it the buyer would get a turn key operation with all required equipment and supplies.
