I did a fund raiser today. It was my very first event were I sold shave ice! I had a blast most of the attendees never tried shave ice before and they were surprised at how soft the ice was. They seemed to love all the flavors, too!

Thank you! Ive scheduled another fundraiser Sept. 17th. This one should be a lot bigger. It's a chili cook off/classic car show. There will be train rides for kids, too. When I called the event coordinator, they told me there are no vendors other than the chili and hot dogs, but she would mention me to the chairperson? Well she got super excited to try the Hawaiian shave ice she said what the heck, come to the event! So I have no compitition, no ice cream or anything! Just me, hot dogs and chili. They expect over 900 people! Yikes I have no idea how much ice or syrup to bring

You go girl! With 900 people, I'd highly recommend at least 3 staff. One to shave, one to pour syrups, and one to handle money (then you won't have to worry about taking that plastic glove on and off!). And stick to one size, it will save you a TON of time
