Greetings ice people and wannabees: I live in Augusta Ga and sell shaved ice on weekends since I have a full time job as a professional scientist during the week. I own a Snowie 3000 that is powered by a 12 volt marine battery. I love it. It is fast. I chose it because I do not want to depend on electricity. It uses cubed ice which I buy in 20 lb bags from Publix grocery. I buy my flavor concentrates online from Hawaii Shave Ice. I buy my supplies (styrofoam cups, plastic spoons, napkins) in bulk from Sam's Club. I run a route on Saturdays covering dozens of auto dealerships, auto parts stores, Jiffy Lubes, auto parts stores. I have my shaver, cooler of ice, cooler of flavors, boxes of supplies in the bed of my pick up truck and have magnetic signs on my truck advertising my business. When I pull up to a potential spot the customers know instantly what I am selling and love to see me come back week after week. This would be a great thing to do during the week but like I said I have another high paying job during the week.
