In Hawaii, shave ice is priced anywhere from $1.00 to as much as $5.00. The price reflects upon the type of cup and flavor you use, your location, competition, and general over head makes a difference too. For paper cups, people usually don't sell it for anything over $2.00. For plastic cups, a range of $2.00-$3.50 would be acceptable.

4oz Small : $1.50
8oz Med: $2.00

I also throw in some extras +50 cents for ice cream +25 cents for azuki beans. You dont have to be exactly the same, but i just thought these were ideal price for a mobile unit that drives around the neighborhood.

My stand is in Utah.
We use Styrofoam cups.
8oz-$1.00
12oz-$2.00
16oz-$3.00
20oz-$4.00
All of our toppings (ice cream, whipped cream, Tiki Cream, Li Hing Mui powder) are $.50 except the Sour Spray which is $.10.

Some of the other stands around also carry larger sizes.
32 oz $4.50
44oz $5.50

I don't carry these sizes because they take to long to make, and most people don't order them.

Wow that is so cheap! Over hea in Hawaii it's like...3.00 or so for one shave ice in some areas., but being mobile helps a lot in reducing overhead so we can offer it at a better deal. :D

We are located in a small farming community and my prices are sometimes considered expensive depending on who the customer is.

In the end, it really comes to down to factoring down your cost per shave ice, roughly. Since supplies, rent, utilities, wages, etc from every state is different.

I operate a 12 volt SNOWIE 3000 out of the back of my pickup truck and I charge $2 for 8 oz styrofoam cup and $3 for 16 oz cup. I live in Georgia. No one has complained about the prices since they pay almost $2 for a coke at the convenience store.
